How To Clean a Pole Saw Blade?- Quick Start Guide of Both Manual and Powered.

Step #1: Detach the Saw from the pole.

It would help if you detached the saw from the pole. Unplug the coupler part of the extended pole. This task will save your time while cleaning the saw blade.

Step #2: Disassembling the pole saw

After unplugging the pole, you should go through to disassemble the pole saw. Loose the screw of the saw which tight the chain. Take away the screw. You can use a screwdriver. 

And mainly divide the frontal cutting parts from the saw. While loosening the screw, you will observe the spinning wheel that spins the chain. You should clean that also.

Step #3: Removing the dart.

If you do the step-4 proper way, you don't see the blade and rotor contaminated. This rotor portion has an oil bulb that expresses the oil to smooth operation of the blade. But the oil contaminates so quickly.

Step #4: Removing the guide bar with chain.

When you want to clean the blade, it's better to remove chain from the machine and move away from the blade.The blade is lye between the chain. Check the chain also to get better cutting experience.

Step #5: Using a degreaser

Using a degreaser is the excellent choice to clean the blade and chain. Take a degreaser and mix it with water and soak the blade into it.

It will also impact on the rust of the blade, and that is why using a degreaser is a must. It will feel you like a new experience.

Step #6: Sharpening the blade edge

The blade is the cutting portion of the device. So regular sharpening of the blade is very much needed for longer use. Try to sharpen its edge.

Put the blade upward on your table. You are using a saw sharpener cause you for better sharpening.

And sharpening rod has to be upwardly and downwardly until the blade is well enough to sharp. If the edge is defecting then you need more time to cut a small branch.

But if your pole saw blade are well sufficient to sharp, then you have an excellent cutting experience better than before.

Step #7: Using a cleaning sprayer

You have done a lot. But, after all, it's all depends on your final touch. If you don't do it properly, there might be a lack of a little proportion of perfectness. In the meantime, using a cleaning sprayer will ease your task done . It will back rusty-dusty to a shiny blade.

This cleaning sprayer can use when all the cleaning procedure is done. When the blade is not glazing, you can try this sprayer. It will protect your saw from getting rust and corrosion.

Step #8: Assembling it again

After finishing the job, you have to assemble it again. You see the blade must be glazing and all the parts take theirs in position. If you see so, then it's ok. Now you can start your cutting with the blade.

A pole saw blade needs must maintenance while a definite period of time. Sometimes it varies due to the length of the pole. But not to worry, you have done the job well. Now get start your task with your saw !!!

The fact is that, if the pole is so lengthy, then it's too hard to operate from the surface. It's because of the centre of mass.

The saw that is placing at the end of the pole is much massive. So, if pole is lengthy, the centre of mass will dislocate.
