3. Use a ladder

4. Make a knot with heavy nylon rope.

When you choose the limbs that are lying on your house, you need to tie it with the heavy rope. Loop the string on the other heavy branch over the cutting limbs. By doing these loop system, you can land the branch hassle-free. Tie with heavy rope, especially when the branch is top of your house.

5. Find growth collar limb.

The branches you want to cut has a collar joint with the shoot of the tree. Find a collar position and start cutting the procedure from there. It's not wise to cut the limbs from its middle or end part of the branch. If you do so, that part will dry-up and can chance to break down upon your house.
